Capital Fishing Company

Three logo renderings drawn by hand for Capital Fishing Company, a small fly fishing guide and supply outfit based near Washington D.C. The owner stated they could see many of the nations monuments from the waterways they fished and wanted one included in their logo. We played with a few ideas and decided on the U.S. Capitol building (difference in spelling noted). The client also like the idea of the fishing poles crossed behind the reel but this became too busy once placed over the Capitol building, so asked for a separate drawing of it. I also wanted to try a sunburst behind the reel like you see in an old Masonic badge and the client was very receptive to the idea. This turned out to be a great project that fit my style of illustration perfectly! Thank you for viewing! www.threemantiger.com
